The basic Halibut Cheek recipe didn’t come out too bad, but I should remember to even out the portions next time, for more balanced cooking. A couple of pieces were a little more fibrous than the chicken texture I’m assuming, whereas the smaller pieces were almost to the point of melting on the mouth.
I de-seeded the jalapenos, in preparation of making poppers tomorrow (after I’ve purchased some cream cheese). One thing to remember for the future though, is to not rub my nose when covered in jalapeno oil.
Cooking is such a far better waste of my biological clock, than sitting in front of the computer in the week, even though I have a couple of pressing items that make this a necessity at some point. I still have pies to make yet; I love pie.
