Three Berry Sherbert

1¼ Cups Raspberries.
1¼ Cups Blackberries.
1¼ Cups Blueberries.
¾ Cup Sugar.
1 Pint Buttermilk.
1 Tblsp Lemon juice.
¼ Tsp Ground cardamom.

1. Puree berries together in a food processor. Push through a fine strainer into a bowl, to remove seeds and remaining solids.

2. Process the mixture in an ice-cream maker, according to directions in the user manual for ice-creams and sorbets.

3. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze immediately until completely solid. Optionally, stir any unfrozen parts every couple of hours to ensure no hard lumps form.
